Denim blue is a soft, light, gentle colour generally associated with comfy, well-worn blue jeans.

In this necklace, the yin of this concept is contrasted with the yang of bold chunky shapes, sharp edges, and polished squares and circles.  The result is transformation into a bold, yet still subtle, monochromatic asymmetric statement necklace.

Six faceted chunks of blue coral separated by pewter rondelles graduate in size to a climactic huge chunk. 

From it spews three strands, which together form a strong counterbalance to this dramatic opening statement.  They vary in size, shape, and texture, and the monochromatic colour scheme allows them to speak for themselves without the distraction of other colours.

They are gathered together to bridge the transformation with a chrome toggle clasp, ready to descend the roller-coaster of the yin-yang experience again and again.
