Hand Carved Bone Bead and Onyx Earrings

Unique ethically sourced, recycled ostrich and cow bone bead earrings.  Every bead has been hand carved by small village artisans in Kenya (ostrich barrel bone bead) and India (cow tube bone bead). Purchasing their beads helps to support the artisans and ensures that no part of any animal is wasted. Black onyx abacus gemstones complete the look, accenting the bone beads.  Finished with a 25 mm silver plated ear hook.

Note:  Each bead is hand carved by artisans with no two beads being identical.  Ostrich barrel beads will vary from 11 - 12 mm in length and 9 - 10 mm in diameter.  The cow tube beads are approximately 8 x 25 mm. Due to the nature of the recycled bone used, there may be slight imperfections in the bone from bead to bead.  This makes the earrings very organic in their appearance.
