Sock knitting kits have all you need to get you knitting: circular needles, 150g of merino wool, pattern, picture of finished sock. The patterns are one of a kind, taken from my book "Socks to Boot", Italy inspired socks.
Simple kits are a great gift for the novice knitter, more complex patterned socks, a great gift for the more experienced one.
