Upcycled Vintage jewellery box with antiqued mirror

This vintage jewellery has been given a new lease on life with a fresh coat of paint and new soft blue lining.  The carved detail on the box was highlighted with white paint to reveal all of the texture and character.  The mirror was left in its original vintage condition with lots of foxing.  You can look at the mirror and wonder about all of the life that was previously reflected in it.  The interior of the box has three compartments which will store lots of jewellery.   Through its journey in life the hinges on the box were changed and marks from the original hinges can still be seen.  This jewelry box has loads of vintage character that would make it a very unique gift.
