The unique and beautiful designs on these scarves are influenced by the ancient Japanese shibori techniques. By using different ways to bind, twist, fold and compress the cloth during the dying process, the end product will always be a unique piece of wearable art. 

Habotai and chiffon are the most popular fabrics used in silk scarf dyeing.  Habotai silk is a smooth weave of silk cloth known for its lustrous sheen, fineness, light weight, and very soft feel.  It drapes beautifully and can be worn in a variety of ways.  Silk chiffon is a matt, lightweight, semi-sheer fabric with a more loosely woven crepe-like texture.  It has a soft beautiful drape.

Each scarf in this listing is a unique creation.  Please ensure you look through all the options as no two scarves are the same.

Hand-washable in cool water with mild detergent.  Lay flat or hang to dry. Iron on "silk" setting.
