Reminiscent of early abstract painters like Jackson Pollock, this is a very long flowing wrap or a wall hanging. It is wet felted with fine merino wool over a printed textile. Sari silk is scattered like paint over a soft subtle rose colour. The sari silk gives the piece wonderful highlights and textures and colour. Darker purples with lime are on the reverse side.
It is 70 inches long! And is 22 inches wide. I have layered the fibres very thinly over the base scarf (70% modals and 30 % silk). The overall effect is the piece is almost transparent in lightness and has an incredible drape.
