Art to Use - Patchwork Tea Cosy

The pieced tea cosies are made by sewing pieces of linen to a foundation fabric. The raw edges were zig-zag stitched, then covered with hand-made bias binding made from quilting cottons. 

I auditioned coordinating quilting cottons for the patchwork cosy. After sewing the pieces together, I cut the fabric into the tea cosy shape - my own design. 

My cosies are lined with quilt batting and a fleece or velvet lining and will keep your tea warm for hours. 

They measure 12" x 8 1/2" and comfortably fit over my Paderno tea pot which measures 9 1/2" from spout to handle and 6 1/2" tall.

All are unique and one of a kind. 

Available for distanced pick up from the porch of my central Stittsville home. Alternatively, I can ship, but at additional cost. I don't charge HST. Made by me using my own design and pattern, in a COVID-free, smoke-free, pet-free home.
