These scarves were inspired by an article in Threads Magazine by Lois Ericson (August/September, 2009) - Lois is the queen of wearable art, and I love the shape and drape of this scarf. Pure Silk. Scarves are long enough to wear as a soft belt.
Each scarf is one of a kind - there won't be another! They measure around 58 1/2" long and 5 1/4" wide. The shape and drape mean they can be worn around the neck inside a jacket, or underneath a jacket collar and lapels. They can also easily be worn over a sweater or t-shirt, tied like a man's tie or wrapped around the neck with one end over the shoulder. The silk is very soft and has a lovely hand.
Available for pickup from my front step in my home in central Stittsville, or can be shipped at additional cost. I don't charge HST.
A note from Ottawa Artisans: Please note that the vendor will contact you directly after payment to discuss your choice of local pick-up/drop-off or shipping (not included unless specified).
