This stunning throw pillow was made with a cyanotype. Cyanotype is an old photograhic process where objects are exposed to light which creates images on a deep blue background. I used geranium leaves from my garden to produce the print on upholstery weight fabric.
The back of the pillow is dark blue linen, and it has a brass zipper. The inside is neatly finished with French seams. It can be hand washed in cold water. Line dry.
This is a great throw cushion if you like botanical prints and brilliant blue.
