This is the real deal.....a freshwater pearl eye glasses holder strung on silk thread and hand knotted in the traditional way of expensive pearl necklaces. The hand-made knots between the pearls prevent them from rubbing against each other. This not only protects the pearls, it also gives the chain a beautiful fluidity. The ends are finished in the traditional fashion with "french wire", which protects the silk from fraying and makes the chain extra durable. This is a special glasses necklace crafted with extra time and skill for someone who only wants the best.
