This Japanese teacup is made with red clay, decorated with a sashiko stitching inspired design (seigaiha - blue sea and waves) and seagreen glaze. The mugs measure 3" in height by 2.75" in width.
Each piece is lovingly handmade on the wheel or handbuilt, then decorated and glazed. Many pieces are part of a small series but each one is unique. Therefore, dimensions are approximate and designs may vary slightly from the photo as they are individually formed and decorated.
