Made from Canadian hardwoods like Maple, Oak and Ash, this tool is used by Circular Sock Machine (CSM) users and hand knitters to knit (kitchener) the toe area of socks by running the needles over the curved surface of the jack to bring the strands of wool together. The jack has two different sized bulbs: 3" and 2 1/2" (approximately) to accommodate different sock sizes. About 10" long.
Finished with a beeswax compound, the toejack is polished and buffed to a high shine and smooth as glass finish. Grooves to assist gripping can be added to the handle area. Free shipping in Canada. Curbside pickup available in Stittsville.
