Lemongrass is a tropical, grassy plant used in cooking and herbal medicine. Extracted from the leaves and stalks of the lemongrass plant, lemongrass essential oil has a powerful, citrus scent. It’s often found in soaps and other personal care products. Lemongrass oil has a strong lemony scent with earthy undertones. It is light, refreshing, relaxing, and balancing. As the herb is packed with vitamin A and C, it works hard to keep your skin and hair glossy. However, beyond that, it also has astringent (tightening) properties which helps to minimize your pores as well as keep your oil levels balanced – cutting back on those pesky pimples.
