This one-of-a-kind macrame wall hanging was inspired by classic, monochrome, warm neutral home decor. The clay orange, rust, and caramel browns blend together seamlessly with the crisp white, off-white, and natural cotton mixed with a hint of gold sparkle. Eight different types of macrame cord were used along with acrylic yarn for a textured, monochromatic feel.
These colours are meant to complement each other and bring out the reds, oranges, browns, and gold hues in your home decor. This piece is made using recycled and natural cotton rope in a variety of colours. The weaving rope is caramel brown, making this piece unique to the usual style of white-wired macrame wall hangings. I repurposed cuttings of rope for this piece, making it an eco-friendly option. Approximately 20cm x 35cm (not including the hanging piece).
