Painting by Paul Joseph Laberge

"Weeping Over Spilt Water"

Acrylic paints on canvas, 24" wide X 30" long, two coats of polymer gel over the paints for isolation, and two coats of varnish (with UVLS: Ultra Violet Light Stabilizers) as a final finish for long range preservation (considered museum quality conservation).

Inspired by a corner of Stewart Park in the little town of Perth, on the Tay River and Canal that flow into the Rideau Lakes. Stewart Park has beautifully preserved 200 year-old trees with the Tay River running through the Park into a swimming area.
