Painting by Paul Joseph Laberge

"Betty the Giraffe - Modern Art Explained"

9 individual acrylic paintings on canvas, mounted on a wood frame 26.5" wide X 33" long, two coats of polymer gel over the paints for isolation, and two coats of varnish (with UVLS: Ultra Violet Light Stabilizers) as a final finish for long range preservation (considered museum quality conservation).

People are generally confused about Modern Art. "What does it mean?" etc. etc. So I decided to explain visually how members of a particular ART Movement would see and paint a common and fairly recognizable subject, i.e Betty the Giraffe. Don't look for deep meaning here: this is a fun painting (i.e. not "serious")
