Painting by Paul Joseph Laberge

"Winter Oak Reflecting on the Season of Flowering"

Acrylic paints on canvas, 24" wide X 30" long, two coats of polymer gel over the paints for isolation, and two coats of varnish (with UVLS: Ultra Violet Light Stabilizers) as a final finish for long range preservation (considered museum quality conservation).

New twist on the old saying: "If a tree falls in the forest, and there was no one there to hear it, was there a sound at all?" or something like that... I believe trees are sentient in some way and who knows what they're thinking about; if you ever encounter Legolas (of The Lord of the Rings fame) on your travels, you could ask him about it!

Sometimes words have more than one meaning; but both meanings have just as much impact on the soul, maybe at a different level. A painting to go beyond "what you see is what you get". And all of that is for free; but the painting will cost you a mere $695.00.
