Upcycled jewellery box with Fairy decor, Blue Grey trinket box, souvenir box for miniature dolls

A fantastic gift for a girl who is into Fairies and collecting jewelry or special souvenirs.  The fairies are sailing on the top of this trinket box, hand painted in watery blue colours reminiscent of the sea.  This vintage jewelry box is a great way to help you solve some storage issues, either storing your jewelry collection or other memories and keepsakes such as letters, postcards or other items of memorabilia.  

This wooden box was painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paints in the colour Paris Grey and washed with Old Violet for a soothing watery look.   The top was decoupaged with a print entitled "I Saw Three Ships" from Little Songs of Long Ago, 1912.  The image contains both fairies and sailing ships and it is very soothing.  The trinket box has its original hardware and all new lining.  A great place to store memories and keepsakes, small dolls as well as jewelry.  It would make a great birthday gift with romantic style and elegant style.
