Upcycled wood Jewellery Box, Violet Blue Jewelry box with butterflies, Musical Jewellery Box

A charming violet blue jewelry box that would make a perfect birthday gift for a young girl and her starter jewelry collection.  This wooden jewelry box was hand painted in a "Old Violet" chalk paint (Annie Sloan Chalk Paint) and added dimension was created with a was of Paloma.  The three dimensional butterflies were also highlighted with gold gilding wax for some added sparkle.  This box is also a music box which plays "Let Me Be Your Teddy Bear," a song sung by Elvis Presley.  The drawer on the bottom opens for storage and is half of the width of box as it sits in front of the music box component.  The bottom drawer is divided into 3 sections.  The top drawer is full width and has a single large storage area.  The lining is original to the box and in very good condition.  This jewellery box would make a fantastic gift box holding a special piece of jewelry too.  I strive to create jewellery boxes that could also be a future heirloom.
