A musical jewelry box, hand painted in white to create an upcycled vintage treasure. It has been completely relined with on trend emerald green velvet. A great gift for that special someone who loves butterflies and the shabby chic look. It plays the theme from "Love Story" which dates the box to the early 1970's.
This musical jewelry box has been given a country chic, shabby style with the paint finish created with Annie Sloan Chalk Paints and a slightly distressed finish. The sides of the box and the single drawer were decoupaged with paper napkins with wonderful colour and subject matter. Butterflies, flowers and inspirational words pop against the colour of the box. The back was painted with stripes for added interest. Detail was also added to the inside of the top to continue the theme. It feels very Spring like with its floral decor. This lovingly refinished wooden jewelry box would make a romantic, thoughtful, and one of a kind gift for her for any special occasion.
